Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what Aashirwad — Gold & Silver Estimate ("the app") does — and does not do — with your information.
1. We do not store your data on any server
Your shop details (name, your name, address, phone, shop logo), your preferences, every estimate you create, and any product photo you attach are stored only on your device's local storage. They are never uploaded to us, never synced to a server, and never shared with third parties. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is gone.
2. Sign-in
The app uses Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication) only to confirm you are a real user and to keep you signed in. We receive a basic Google account identifier and your display name, handled by Google's authentication service. We do not read your contacts, email, files, or any other Google data.
3. Live metal rates
To auto-fill today's gold and silver rate, the app requests a public rate feed over the internet. Only a rate request is sent — none of your shop details, customers, or estimates are ever sent with it. Displayed rates are approximate and always editable.
4. Camera and photos
You may optionally attach a product photo (from your camera or gallery) and a shop logo to an estimate. These images stay on your device and are included only in the estimate file you choose to export and share. They are never uploaded to us.
5. Permissions
- Internet — for sign-in and live rates.
- Camera — only if you choose to take a product photo. Optional.
- Storage (older devices only) — to save exported PDFs/images you share.
6. Advertising
The app may show ads. If ads are enabled, the ad provider (Google) may collect device-level information to serve ads, as described in Google's own privacy policy. No estimate or shop data is shared with advertisers.
7. Children
The app is intended for business use and is not directed at children.
8. Your control & account deletion
You can clear your shop data any time from Settings → Clear shop data, or remove everything by uninstalling the app. To delete your sign-in account, open the "Account Deletion" page from Settings, or email aashirwad@ridamjain.com.
